The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomba is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

The ground and pound from Bomba seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Rivera is trying to get back to his feet.

Bomba really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rivera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bomba looks to land a strike but Rivera avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Bomba is fighting to break Rivera's control of his arms but Rivera is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Rivera bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bomba's guard.

Bomba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bomba scores with a jab to the jaw.
Rivera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bomba has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rivera shoots in for a takedown but Bomba shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
