The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Guk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jong Guk moves to clinch but Whitaker breaks away
and Whitaker counters with a series of strikes. Jong Guk will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jong Guk has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

As Jong Guk backs off Whitaker throws a huge counter combo but Jong Guk manages to avoid it all.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Whitaker wobbles Jong Guk with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Whitaker dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Jong Guk to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
