Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rokki Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurtis Couturier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couturier comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Forever Angel kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The fight stays on the outside here - Couturier looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Couturier throws a hook but Kukko avoids it easily.

Kukko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Couturier uses from the top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kukko in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Couturier tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kukko!
