The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nystrom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. The Multi Hunter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Multi Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by Nystrom.
The Multi Hunter lands a lovely overhand right.
Nystrom takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Nystrom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Multi Hunter, pushing him back against the cage.
Nystrom tries to land a knee to the head but The Multi Hunter blocks with his arms.

The Multi Hunter jumps into guard, dragging Nystrom to the mat.
Nystrom pushes down on The Multi Hunter's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Nystrom wants to stand but The Multi Hunter has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
We've been hearing good reports from Nystrom's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The Multi Hunter gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nystrom wants to get up but he can't break The Multi Hunter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The Multi Hunter controls Nystrom momentarily but Nystrom frees himself.

Nystrom slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Nystrom stands and steps away. The Multi Hunter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Nystrom doesn't manage to clinch there - The Multi Hunter circles away.

Noam Nystrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nystrom tries to clinch but The Multi Hunter moves out of range.

and The Multi Hunter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nystrom takes one to the side of the head.
The Multi Hunter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The Multi Hunter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nystrom works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and The Multi Hunter makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nystrom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. The Multi Hunter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and The Multi Hunter counters with a right hand that sends Nystrom tumbling to the canvas! Can The Multi Hunter finish him? He dives into Nystrom's guard looking to do just that!

Nystrom is looking for a sweep. The Multi Hunter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nystrom seems to have got his legs back now.

The Multi Hunter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nystrom defend it? The Multi Hunter steps over the head and cranks it - Nystrom is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for The Multi Hunter!
