The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Miles blocks a head kick by Stark.
Miles misses with a leg kick
and Stark counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Darius Miles has been cut.
Miles throws a head kick but Stark moves out of range.
Miles looks to clinch
and Stark counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stark connects with a body shot.
Miles fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Miles moves into the clinch successfully.
Stark breaks the clinch.
Miles swinging wildly here.
Miles with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Darius Miles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Miles back to the cage. Stark follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miles moves away from the strike by Stark.
We've been told by Miles's head coaches at Mist Of Pandaria that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Miles throws a sloppy head kick and Stark moves out of range easily.
Stark throws out a leg kick but Miles moves out of range and Stark only half commits.
Miles was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Miles just misses with a punch to the body.
Stark pivots, looking for a leg kick but Miles is out of range and Stark settles back down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stark moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Miles buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Miles throws a combination that misses
and Miles takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Miles is rocked!
Miles throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stark only half commits to the counter leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Stark. That's going to slow Miles down.
Stark fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Miles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Miles staying out of range there.
Stark blocks a head kick by Miles.
Stark throws a nice inside leg kick.
Miles throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stark crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miles - the referee stops the clock and Stark gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miles. Stark manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stark circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stark scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Oh Miles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Darius Miles's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stark looks to throw the jab but Miles is out of range.
Miles looks up at the clock. Bad move! Stark lands a right hand from hell, dropping Miles. Stark pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Stark!
