Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gimme Money!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson just misses with a punch to the body.
Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Money.
Wilson is looking to slow Money down with leg kicks.
Money has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Money throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gimme Money seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Money stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Money throws a leg kick that misses.
Wilson wants to slow Money down by chopping away at his legs.
Money misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wilson tries to land a front kick but Money steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Money scores with a hook.
Money scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wilson in his tracks.
Wilson throws a body shot but no joy.
Money takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wilson takes a swing at Money's ribcage but misses.
Wilson misses with a looping left.
Wilson throws a hook but Money blocks it.
Money tries to clinch up but Wilson circles away and keeps his distance.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wilson tries a low kick but Money avoids it.
Money throws out a counter right but Wilson avoids it with no problem.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilson misses with a looping left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Money fails to land with a series of punches.
Money takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Money throws a low kick, looking for Wilson's leg but Wilson calmly moves out of range.
Wilson missing with a left hand there. Money was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Money has his takedown stuffed
and Wilson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lee Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilson misses with a leg kick

and Money counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Money is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Wilson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Wilson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilson lands a decent elbow from side control.
Wilson tries to score with some ground and pound. Money controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Money is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Wilson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Money is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wilson yanks on the arm and Money is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wilson.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lee Wilson!
Lee Wilson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Gimme Money was interviewed post fight and said 'That's gonna cost me a pretty penny.'.
