The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kantola has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kantola tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Kantola just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromWilliams.

It looks like Ari Kantola has been cut.
Williams throws a head kick but Kantola moves out of range.
Williams throws a looping overhand right but Kantola ducks down to avoid it.
Kantola takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kantola gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sean Carter Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ari Kantola.

Sean Carter Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kantola throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kantola off to one side.

Williams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Williams clinches up with Kantola and pushes him back against the cage.

Williams throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Kantola crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Sean Carter Williams decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
