Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tito Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Mancini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Mancini told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mancini swings for the body but Duran moves out of range.
Mancini has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Duran is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mancini swings widly with a right hand
and Duran counters with a right hand to the body.
Mancini lands with a shot to the body.
Mancini misses with a wild body shot.
Duran throwing a counter right hand but Mancini manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Duran misses the target.
Mancini catches Duran with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mancini throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Duran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mancini listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duran just misses with a punch to the body.
Duran swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duran misses with a right hand

and Mancini counters with a nice right hand that sends Duran toppling to the canvas! Duran scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mancini finish him?!

Duran is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mancini is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Duran flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Duran is out cold! Mancini holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
