Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Wong Mongtong and Bee Jay. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Wong Mongtong! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Bee Jay!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Mongtong rushes Jay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mongtong drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jay pulls his leg out and moves away.

Mongtong forces Jay back against the cage and clinches.
Jay prevents the takedown attempt.
Mongtong is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jay is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wong Mongtong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mongtong pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jay can't get the takedown.
Jay is pressed up against the cage. Mongtong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jay down to the mat. Jay avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jay tries to advance to mount but Mongtong denies him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jay is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mongtong has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mongtong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Jay wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mongtong, who protects the arm well.
Mongtong is looking to reverse the position.

Jay is trying to control the action in half guard but Mongtong is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jay wants to pass the guard but Mongtong is keeping the position.

Jay is looking to pass into half guard but Mongtong pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Mongtong is in guard.

Jay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mongtong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mongtong wants to control from the top but Jay keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mongtong looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Jay throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mongtong escapes and throws Jay's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Jay gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Mongtong goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Jay does a handstand and catches Mongtong in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Jay on top - Mongtong is already out from the submission! Jay gives Mongtong's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (TDPW) . Bee Jay!
Bee Jay tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
