The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Yamamoto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coach to the mat! Coach manages to get full guard.

Coach can't keep his opponent in guard - Yamamoto advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

We've been hearing good reports from Coach's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yamamoto is trying to control the position but Coach postures up.
Yamamoto pulls Coach in close to prevent any damage.
Coach stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yamamoto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Coach has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yamamoto to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Coach is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yamamoto pulls down on the head and he's put Coach to sleep! This one is all over!
