Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Allahu Akbar!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funesta walks into a jab.
Akbar throws a combination. Funesta tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Akbar scores with a body shot.
Akbar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Funesta tries to clinch up but Akbar circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Funesta or perhaps it was just good defense by Akbar, which made it look bad.
Funesta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Akbar swivels and escapes.
Akbar throws a series of punches but Funesta avoids them all with ease.
Funesta shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Akbar's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Funesta stands and steps away. Akbar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Akbar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Funesta misses with a takedown attempt - Akbar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Akbar lands a left and a right that send Funesta crashing to the mat, dazed. Akbar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Funesta is rocked!

A jab from Akbar finds it's way through Funesta's defenses.
Oh Funesta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Akbar lands a left and a right that send Funesta crashing to the mat, dazed. Akbar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Akbar knocks Funesta out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
