The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilfiger tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice defenses there by Brooks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hilfiger. That's going to slow Brooks down.
Hilfiger leaves Brooks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd cheers as Hilfiger lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brooks doesn't seem phased though.
No luck for Brooks with that takedown attempt.
Hilfiger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brooks sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brooks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hilfiger is looking to counter punch.
Ronny Hilfiger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Brooks.
Hilfiger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Brooks tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hilfiger defends well and Brooks ends up having to push Hilfiger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Brooks darts in looking for a takedown but Hilfiger gets double underhooks and turns Brooks into the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Hilfiger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Hilfiger presses Brooks against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Hilfiger manages to break the clinch.
Hilfiger stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hilfiger pushes Brooks back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Brooks is still on wobbly legs! Can Hilfiger finish him?
Hilfiger unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Brooks! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Hilfiger is unloading with more strikes now! Brooks drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
