The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sykes blocks a head kick by Armstrong.
Arnie Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Armstrong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut lands for Armstrong. That snapped Sykes's head back.
Armstrong scores with a jab to the jaw.
Sykes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Armstrong lands an overhand right.
Sykes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sykes jabs Armstrong right on the nose. Armstrong blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Arnie Armstrong has been cut.
Armstrong motions for Sykes to come forward. Armstrong throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That kick from Armstrong tenderised Sykes's leg. Sykes is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sykes throws a lazy right hand but Armstrong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Armstrong cracks a nice hook into Sykes's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Armstrong throws a hook but Sykes avoids it easily.
Sykes replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Armstrong blocks it well.
Sykes takes a jab right on the kisser.
Armstrong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Armstrong slips a jab and a cross from Sykes.
Armstrong lands a leg kick that knocks Sykes off balance momentarily.
Armstrong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Armstrong throws a leg kick which misses Sykes's front leg but catches the back leg as Sykes tries to avoid it.
Armstrong connects with a crisp jab.

Armstrong fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Armstrong thows a body kick. Sykes tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Armstrong throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Armstrong jabs at Sykes's body.
Armstrong throws out a loose jab but Sykes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Armstrong ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sykes throws a head kick that misses.
Armstrong connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Sykes connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Armstrong's hands.
Nice uppercut lands for Armstrong. That snapped Sykes's head back.
Armstrong lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Sykes falls backwards - clearly groggy! Armstrong dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
