Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Aung San Suu Kyi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Lee!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suu Kyi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.
Lee throws a counter combo.
Lee moves out of range as Suu Kyi throws a body kick.
A little jabbing left from Lee on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Suu Kyi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee counters with a one-two to the body.
Suu Kyi lands a leg kick that knocks Lee off balance momentarily.
Both fighters circling a little - Suu Kyi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Suu Kyi can pounce on him.
Lee goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Lee manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Suu Kyi on his heels. He'll look to pass Suu Kyi's guard now, I'm sure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee wants to control from the top but Suu Kyi keeps moving.
Lee postures up.
Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Suu Kyi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suu Kyi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
My spies in The Good the Bad and The Ugly inform me that Lee has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Suu Kyi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.

Lee has gone for a leg lock! Suu Kyi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lee's guard.

Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Suu Kyi defends well.

Lee is looking to cinch up a triangle. Suu Kyi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lee's body to avoid the submission. Lee has instead reached around Suu Kyi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lee arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
