Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naya Shinoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinoki has chosen wadiako as his entrance music. Naya Shinoki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 33 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Naya Shinoki !
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takeshi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shinoki felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Still in half guard, Takeshi seems content to control.

Shinoki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Shinoki pushes Takeshi off looking to stand but Takeshi dives back in and keeps control.

Takeshi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Shinoki doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Takeshi.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Shinoki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Takeshi controls the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shinoki is on top in guard.

Shinoki throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Takeshi to regain full guard.
Takeshi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Shinoki controls the pace.
Let's hope that Shinoki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Takeshi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Takeshi prevents Shinoki from getting back to his feet.

Shinoki pushes Takeshi off and gets back to his feet.
Shinoki keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Shinoki .
Takeshi tries to counter with a takedown but Shinoki is quick to defend against it.
Takeshi slaps away a takedown attempt from Shinoki , before circling back to the center of the mat.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Shinoki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Takeshi is working away from the top position though.
Shinoki is looking to get back to full guard here but Takeshi has managed to pass to side control instead.

That was a close round but I would say that Ichi Takeshi will probably get the nod.
That's time! Takeshi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Shinoki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Takeshi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Shinoki changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Naya Shinoki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Shinoki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Takeshi.
Takeshi closes the distance and clinches up with Shinoki , looking for a takedown. Takeshi pushes Shinoki against the ropes but Shinoki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ichi Takeshi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shinoki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takeshi as he avoids it easily.

Takeshi tries to clinch there but Shinoki circles away.
Shinoki drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Takeshi defends it well.

Shinoki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Takeshi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Shinoki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Takeshi keeps working.

Shinoki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shinoki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Takeshi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Shinoki off and has taken his back!

Takeshi has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Shinoki ! Can he survive? No! He's out! Takeshi gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ichi Takeshi!
A very excited looking Ichi Takeshi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Naya Shinoki stepped up to the mic, saying ' Didn't go my way I will come back stronger Congrats to my opponent an best of luck in the future thanks you all for the support'.
