Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Mubango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mubango comes into the arena with Jessie J - Bang Bang blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mubango throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Young uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mubango.
Young takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Young looks to land a right hand but Mubango moved out of range.

Mubango is trying hard to land a takedown here. Young sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Young moves into the clinch successfully.
Mubango has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Young is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Mubango has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Young after a bit of a struggle.
I was talking to Mubango's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Mubango has Young pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mubango pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Young tumbling to the mat - Mubango dives into Young's guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mubango lands a nice short elbow.

Mubango is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Mubango scores with a big shot! Young's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Young! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

A very excited looking Christian Mubango rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
