The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefrock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mugabe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mugabe raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Beefrock slaps away a takedown attempt from Mugabe, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mugabe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lump Beefrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mugabe drops down looking for an ankle pick but Beefrock pulls his leg out and moves away.

Beefrock fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mugabe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Beefrock drops Mugabe with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mugabe looks back up at him and smiles so Beefrock waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Beefrock is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Mugabe thows a huge punch but Beefrock dodges it nicely.
Beefrock is looking for a sweep. Mugabe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mugabe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beefrock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Beefrock cracks Mugabe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Beefrock has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mugabe to stand back up!

Beefrock sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Mugabe's defenses. It connects perfectly with Mugabe's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
