Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otha Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Barber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Barber enables Head to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barber manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Barber is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Head dives into side control.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Barber has eaten all the pies!
Head wants to stand but Barber is controlling his arm.

Head is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barber is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Head knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barber on the ground.
Barber manages to get back to half guard.

Head is looking for a kimura here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Head throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Barber is trying to control but can't.

Barber is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Head pulls his head out easily.
Barber is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Head's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Head's back!
Barber punches the canvas rather than the man.
Head is trying to break free.
Head is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Barber slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Head trying to control the hands but Barber breaks the grip.
Barber throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Barber wants to control but Head is keeping busy.

Barber has got one arm under Head's chin. This could be trouble... Head trying to control the other hand but Barber gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Head has tapped out! The fight is over!
