The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viljanen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Viljanen wants to control from the top but Cesar Chavez keeps moving.
Viljanen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Viljanen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cesar Chavez . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oh but Cesar Chavez is tightening it up a little... Viljanen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
