The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaffney on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gaffney throws a nice looking combination but Nasir bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gaffney got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nasir has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gaffney has managed to get both his arms back between Nasir's legs - danger averted.

Nasir closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gaffney's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Hamish Gaffney will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Gaffney looks for a takedown but Nasir sprawls well.

Nasir fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gaffney has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
