Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Ashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christa Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Faustino Ashley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Christa Warner!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ashley is trying to push Warner away but Warner has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ashley tries to pull guard but Warner forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Ashley blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Warner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ashley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Warner is in close to Ashley's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Ashley is working an open guard so Warner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ashley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Warner is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Ashley fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Faustino Ashley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warner has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ashley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Warner has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ashley uses from the top position.
Warner is wriggling around but Ashley manages to pass to half guard.

Warner wants to sweep but Ashley has passed to side control!

Warner keeps trying to improve his position.
Ashley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
You can see the frustration on Warner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Warner is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Warner is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Ashley is tapping! Great win for Warner!
