Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otha Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I'm Blue. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Otha Roman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Knight!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Knight clinches up with Roman and pushes him back against the cage.
Knight blocks a body shot from Roman.
Knight goes for a takedown attempt but Roman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Knight circles away from the clinch attempt.

Roman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Knight quickly recovers to half guard.

Knight has one foot on Roman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Roman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Knight gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knight is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Knight keeps control of Roman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Knight has Roman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Roman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Roman has had enough of the clinch but Knight keeps him there for the moment.

Roman is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Knight keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Roman's efforts to push away.

Roman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Knight is on top in guard.

Knight gets to his feet. Roman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Roman shoots in looking for a takedown but Knight manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Knight.
Roman tries to counter with a takedown but Knight is quick to defend against it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knight shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roman as he avoids it easily.
Knight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roman tries to avoid it but Knight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roman to the ground. Roman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Roman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kenny Knight will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Roman holds on and takes a little breather.

Roman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Knight defends well.

The referee is keeping an eye on Roman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
