Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liam Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hansov Assid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reid comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Roughneck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reid feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Reid throws a strike but Assid rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Assid is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Reid is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Reid has escaped and now he's on top!

Our spies down at at The Highland Way inform us that Assid has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Reid is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Reid would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Assid has his feet on Reid's thighs here. He's pushed Reid off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Reid screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
