Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Howes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moh Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jacob Howes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jacob Howes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Moh Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Howes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bruce Lee wants to get back to striking at distance but Howes won't allow it.

Howes successfully pulls guard.
Howes looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Howes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
My spies in English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) inform me that Bruce Lee has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Bruce Lee wanted to stand there but Howes had control of the position.

Howes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Howes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Howes is on top in guard.

Howes has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bruce Lee's body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bruce Lee is trying to get back to his feet but Howes has full control of the position and if anything, Bruce Lee has just worked his way into a worse spot.
