Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Maciel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Lobtov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maciel throws a leg kick

and Lobtov counters with a single leg into guard. Maciel didn't expect that.
Lobtov controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lobtov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maciel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Maciel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Lobtov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maciel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lobtov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maciel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lobtov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maciel manages to get himself to full guard.

Lobtov sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Maciel doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Lobtov paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Maciel - great work!
