Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Panupong Singsurat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshin Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Panupong Singsurat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Kenshin Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto shoots in for a double leg but Singsurat sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Singsurat seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Singsurat gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Yamamoto wants to control from the top but Singsurat keeps moving.

Singsurat is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yamamoto defends well.
Yamamoto controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singsurat looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Singsurat has his foot on Yamamoto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yamamoto works his way back into a safe position though.
Yamamoto wants to get up but he can't break Singsurat's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Singsurat accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Singsurat will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Singsurat is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Yamamoto lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Singsurat throws a front kick that sends Yamamoto stumbling back into the cage.
Singsurat darts in looking for a takedown but Yamamoto gets double underhooks and turns Singsurat into the cage.

Yamamoto feints and as Singsurat raises his hands in defense, Yamamoto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Singsurat bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yamamoto's guard.

Yamamoto wants to stand but Singsurat is controlling the position.
Yamamoto wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yamamoto uses the cage to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Singsurat.

Singsurat tries to close the distance and clinch but Yamamoto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Yamamoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Singsurat's waist but Singsurat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yamamoto off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Singsurat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Yamamoto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I think Singsurat has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
