Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Georgie Porgie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soloman Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Georgie Porgie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Soloman Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porgie dives in for a single leg takedown but Palmer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Porgie throws a right hand that Palmer ducks under and follows up with a left that Palmer also avoids with ease.
Porgie throws a wild body kick that Palmer sees coming a mile off.
Porgie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Palmer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Porgie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Palmer throws out the jab.
Porgie fails with a takedown attempt.
Palmer loads up on a big right hand but Porgie slips the punch.
Soloman Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Palmer throws a leg kick that misses.
A combination from Porgie does no damage.
Palmer misses with a looping left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palmer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Porgie slips a straight right by Palmer.

Palmer gets a takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Palmer throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Porgie to regain full guard.

Porgie wants to sweep but no luck.
Palmer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Palmer tries to free his leg and advance position but Porgie is retaining full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Palmer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Porgie controls Palmer momentarily but Palmer frees himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Palmer closes the distance and clinches up with Porgie, looking for a takedown. Palmer pushes Porgie against the cage but Porgie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Porgie attempts a counter takedown but Palmer avoids it well and moves away.
Palmer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Palmer.
Porgie tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Palmer manages to circle out of the way.
Good work by Porgie as he checks the leg kick.
Palmer swings widly with a right hand
and Porgie counters with a straight right hand.
Palmer throws a sloppy head kick
and Palmer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Porgie definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Porgie.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Georgie Porgie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Palmer.
Porgie is trying to control Palmer's posture but Palmer avoids it.

Palmer is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Porgie will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Porgie wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Porgie is looking for a sweep.
Porgie is trying to escape the position but Palmer is controlling the position.
An elbow from Palmer crashes against the mat.
Porgie is trying to get back to half guard.
Palmer in side control, throwing shots but Porgie defends.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Palmer slows the pace down.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Soloman Palmer will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A combination from Porgie does no damage.

Palmer feints and as Porgie raises his hands in defense, Palmer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Porgie is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Porgie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Palmer to keep the fight standing.

Porgie has Palmer pressed against the cage, preventing Palmer from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Porgie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Palmer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Palmer is looking for a kimura but Porgie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Palmer to get the leverage.

A close second round but Soloman Palmer will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Palmer looks to land a strike but Porgie avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porgie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Palmer controls the pace.
Porgie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Palmer misses with a straight right.

Palmer misses with a head kick.
Porgie blocks a leg kick.
Porgie misses with a body kick.
Porgie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Palmer drives through with a takedown into Porgie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

I've got Palmer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
