Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Hughs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 38 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Hughs!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughs wants to clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Hill misses the target.
Hill thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hughs has a takedown stuffed.
Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hill misses with a straight left.
A combination from Hill does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hughs loads up on a big right hand but Hill slips the punch.
Hill appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Hill throws a hook to the side of Hughs's head but Hughs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hill misses with a head kick.

Hughs wants to clinch up but Hill keeps it at a distance.
Hill just misses with a punch to the body.
Hill lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hughs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hughs with a jab.
Hughs connects with a leg kick. Hill looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hill avoids the head kick by Hughs.
Hill uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hughs has time to react.
Hughs displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hill throws out the jab.
Hill moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromHughs.
Hughs takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hughs is rocked!
Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Hughs is just out of range.
It seemed like Hughs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hill scores with a punch to the head.
Hughs is still on wobbly legs! Can Hill finish him?

Hughs misses with a takedown
and Hill scores with a counter punch that sends Hughs to the canvas! Hill smells blood - he's punishing Hughs with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hughs has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
