Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between L Manning Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Keene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott Keene will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, L Manning Hines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Keene!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keene jabs Hines to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hines dives in for a single leg takedown but Keene sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Keene fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Keene throws a jab when Hines was well out of range.
Hines shoots and misses
and Keene counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hines looking to score a takedown here. Keene is defending well but Hines drives through and ends up in Keene's guard.
Hines wants to control from the top but Keene keeps moving.
Keene can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hines controls the pace.

Hines drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hines jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hines thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hines has gone for a leg lock! Keene slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hines's guard.


Hines looking for a guillotine here but Keene defends easily.
Keene tries to stand but Hines is controlling from the bottom.
Hines tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Keene is looking to advance position but Hines has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hines looking to secure an arm triangle but Keene defends it well.

Keene defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hines.
Hines looking to control but Keene is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Hines working for a submission but Keene is keeping him at bay.

Hines is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Keene to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Keene shrugs it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hines is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Keene can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hines jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Keene is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Keene and Hines has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Hines wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Keene, who protects the arm well.
Hines slows the pace down.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hines is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Keene knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hines working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Keene can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

L Manning Hines dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Keene moves into range and connects with a jab.
Hines is aggressively charging in as Keene backs up avoiding any damage. Keene tosses out a jab and Hines runs right into it face first! Hines is out cold! Keene dropped down on all fours and is barking in Hines's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Keene!
