Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dada Buckeye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Oddweek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Oddweek has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dada Buckeye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Oddweek!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Oddweek counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Buckeye can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Oddweek controls the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oddweek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
