The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Bawls.

and Bawls counters with a two punch combo.
Bawls shoots in for a takedown but Ruiz shows good takedown defense.
Ruiz is looking to clinch.
Bawls swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bawls misses with a double jab

and Ruiz counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bawls!
