PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robb Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wesson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In Your Honor - Foo Fighters. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Wesson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robb Stark!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesson throws a shot from downtown. Stark moves away and avoids it.
Stark waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wesson.
Stark moves forwards but Wesson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Stark throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wesson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stark is in Wesson's guard.

Stark drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wesson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wesson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wesson!

Stark tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wesson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Wesson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Stark tries to escape but Wesson is in control.

Wesson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Stark is looking for a sweep.

Wesson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stark, who protects the arm well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Wesson is trying to get an arm triangle but Stark is defending well.

Wesson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Stark is looking to reverse the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stark trying to control but Wesson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Wesson controlling well, preventing Stark from escaping the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Wesson's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Wesson is not going to allow Stark to sit and survive in this position.
Stark breaks Wesson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Stark throwing strikes from guard but Wesson blocks nicely.
Wesson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Wesson keeping moving, preventing Stark from controlling successfully.
Stark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wesson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wesson is looking for a triangle but Stark pushes his legs off easily.
Wesson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wesson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Wesson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stark doesn't defend quickly enough and Wesson has managed to lock this one up! Can Stark escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wesson on a fantastic submission victory.
