TWGC 12 (145lbs, D1): Finals - Round 1 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Predator Burns and Mega Funkyama. Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu-Jitsu. Funkyama is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bon Jovi: Bad Medicine. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 4 losses; Predator Burns! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 19 wins and 5 losses; Mega Funkyama!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Funkyama working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
