Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reyes Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ady Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reyes Wilkinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ady Jr!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilkinson clinches.
Wilkinson tries to pull guard but Jr forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Wilkinson pulls guard successfully.
Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Wilkinson is retaining full guard.
Wilkinson looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jr working some strikes from top position.
Jr lands a couple of digs.
Wilkinson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wilkinson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilkinson prevents Jr from standing back up.

Wilkinson stands up and beckons Jr to join him on the feet.

Jr gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Wilkinson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jr doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jr has a closed guard, preventing Wilkinson from standing up.

Jr has his foot on Wilkinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilkinson works his way back into a safe position though.

Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wilkinson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wilkinson postures up in Jr's guard and throws a big left but Jr blocks it.
Wilkinson wanted to stand there but Jr had control of the position.
Wilkinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wilkinson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jr tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Jr is looking to sweep but instead, Wilkinson has passed into half guard.
Wilkinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wilkinson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wilkinson.
Jr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Wilkinson thows a huge punch but Jr dodges it nicely.
Wilkinson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Wilkinson lands with a punch from half guard.
Wilkinson tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jr controls his leg.
Jr is looking to improve his position.
Wilkinson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wilkinson seems to be working for a kimura but Jr defends the submission attempt.
Wilkinson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Wilkinson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Wilkinson lands strikes from half guard.
Jr is trying to control but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wilkinson throwing shots but Jr is blocking nicely.

Jr manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wilkinson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reyes Wilkinson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wilkinson tries a head kick but it misses.

Wilkinson gets caught napping as Jr dives in and scores a takedown. Wilkinson manages to retain guard.
Jr looking to sit in guard and control but Wilkinson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jr wants to sweep here but Wilkinson controlling him for the moment.

Wilkinson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jr to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wilkinson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Wilkinson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jr can do to turn this around?
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilkinson is on top in guard.

Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Wilkinson gets to his feet. Jr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ady Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilkinson wants to clinch up but Jr keeps it at a distance.

Jr shoots in and bounces Wilkinson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Reyes Wilkinson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jr is breathing heavily.
Wilkinson wants to sweep here but Jr controlling him for the moment.
Jr advances to half guard.
Jr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilkinson keeps working.
Jr stalling away here and it's allowed Wilkinson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilkinson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wilkinson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jr's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilkinson gets to his feet - Jr follows without any prompting.
Wilkinson throws a series of punches but Jr moves out of range.

Jr scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Jr stands up.
Wilkinson blocks a head kick by Jr.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jr takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Jr moves into range and clinches up with Wilkinson.
Wilkinson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jr smiles and moves away.

Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Jr lands with a right to the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jr obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jr is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jr can't break the clinch.
Jr is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ady Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Wilkinson rushes Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wilkinson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Jr pulls guard.
Jr wants to hit a switch here but Wilkinson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jr there!

Wilkinson goes for an armbar but Jr turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jr.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wilkinson wants to get back to full guard.
Jr stalling away here and it's allowed Wilkinson to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Jr decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wilkinson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jr preventing the sweep.

Jr missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Jr passes Wilkinson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Wilkinson is trying to get back to full guard.
Jr scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Jr thows a huge punch but Wilkinson dodges it nicely.
Wilkinson is not content to let Jr control the position.

Jr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wilkinson sees it coming and defends easily.

Jr works his foot free and advances to mount.
Wilkinson is working to get back to half guard.
Wilkinson is working hard here to advance position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wilkinson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ady Jr comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jr has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
