Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Loves To Spooge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathias Vini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spooge's entrance music is Litte Things - One Direction. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spooge tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vini swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vini closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Loves To Spooge has been cut.

Vini looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Spooge is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Spooge tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vini manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

I was talking to Spooge's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vini tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spooge sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vini somewhat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Spooge looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vini has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Spooge.
Vini tries for a takedown but Spooge sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Both fighters circling a little - Spooge finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vini's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spooge connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vini scrambles back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Loves To Spooge will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

After the fight, Loves To Spooge was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
