Dude's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Trashmen - Surfin' Bird. Taylor has chosen Bow Down as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor misses with a two punch combination.
No luck for Dude with that takedown attempt.
Taylor throws a big shot that misses.
Dude connects with the punch.
Dude looks to land a right hand but Taylor moved out of range.
Dude wants to clinch but Taylor slips to the side
and Taylor counters with a leg kick.
Taylor misses with a combination
and Dude counters with a nice body shot.
A jab from Taylor misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor lands with a nice combination. Dude backs away looking to recover.
Dude dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Taylor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dude.
A telegraphed right hand from Taylor misses the target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dude takes one to the side of the head.

The fighters circling - Taylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Taylor swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Dude throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Taylor throws a body punch but Dude moves out of range.
Taylor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dude with a nice cross.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dude as he jumps to the side.
Dude is looking to counter with head kicks.
Dude lands an overhand right.
Taylor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Taylor is rocked!
Taylor misses with a body punch
and Dude counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Taylor is still on wobbly legs! Can Dude finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dude lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Taylor falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Surfer Dude!
A relieved looking Surfer Dude thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
