The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Mencarini, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mencarini lands with a good body shot.
Zamora defending well as Mencarini loads up on a big left hand.
Mencarini misses with a combination
and Zamora counters with a takedown into side control.
Mencarini sneaks out the side door and pushes Zamora away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Well Mencarini has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
