James comes into a darkened arena with his song building. NWO Wolfpack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thoreson shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Thoreson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Thoreson jabs James to the body, keeping him at a distance.
James connects with a good right hand that stumbles Thoreson. Thoreson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
James has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
James throws a hook but Thoreson avoids it easily.
Thoreson connects with a high kick.
Jab, jab by James - just one landing.
James looks to land a left hand but Thoreson moved out of range nicely.
James takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Thoreson lands the left hand.

Oooooh!!! James has knocked Thoreson down with a huge combo! James steps away and waves a wobbly Thoreson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Mats Thoreson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thoreson leaves his chin hanging out and James seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Thoreson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
