The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhula looks to land a left hand but Adams moved out of range nicely.
Adams throws a jab when Kuhula was well out of range.
Adams ducks right into an uppercut from Kuhula.

Kuhula shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Adams eats them both and turns towards Kuhula to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kuhula thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kuhula darts in looking for a takedown but Adams gets double underhooks and turns Kuhula into the cage.

Adams jabs Kuhula right on the nose. Kuhula blinks but takes it well.

Kuhula throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Adams counters with a stiff right hand.
Kuhula throws a lazy right hand but Adams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kuhula is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Adams takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Austin Adams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kuhula fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Adams manages to avoid it.
Adams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Adams pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
We've been told by Adams's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kuhula jabs Adams to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Kuhula drops Adams with a beautiful combination! Adams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kuhula is looking for the KO!

Kuhula moves away from the strike by Adams.
Adams throws a jab but it's blocked by Kuhula.

Kuhula lands a big uppercut and Adams crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Adams looks OK. Kuhula waves Adams back to his feet!

Adams is rocked!

Adams avoids a punch combination nicely.

Adams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kuhula moves away.
Kuhula tries to bum rush Adams with a series of wild strikes but Adams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kuhula throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Adams stumbling backwards into the cage! Adams bounces back off the cage towards Kuhula, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kuhula lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kuhula celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
