Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mahalo is trying to defend but Li finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Li is pressing down on Mahalo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mahalo is holding on for now.
Mahalo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Li scores with a couple of nice shots.
It looks like Li is going to stand back up.
Li perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Mahalo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Li seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mahalo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Li takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Li drops an elbow to the side of Mahalo's head.
Mahalo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Li is working away from the top position though.
Mahalo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mahalo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Li has an Americana. Mahalo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Li is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Li hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
