Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Halfrid Joesma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Roots Manuva - Again and Again. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joseph Parker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Halfrid Joesma!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a right and a left that Joesma avoids nicely.
Parker stuffs the takedown attempt from Joesma. Joesma gets slowly back to his feet.
Joesma tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily
and Parker counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Joesma tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parker defends well and Joesma ends up having to push Parker into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Parker misses its target.
Joseph Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Halfrid Joesma.
Joesma shoots for a double leg takedown but Parker sprawls well. He's pushed Joesma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Joesma shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parker as he avoids it easily.
Joesma has his takedown stuffed
and Parker counters with a one-two to the body.
Halfrid Joesma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joesma looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joesma shoots for a takedown but Parker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Joesma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Joesma eats them both and turns towards Parker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Parker lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Joesma is looking to close the distance but Parker sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Joesma crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Joesma is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Joseph Parker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
