The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Higgins sprawls well. Higgins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Norman gets slowly back to his feet.
Norman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Higgins feints and as Norman raises his hands in defense, Higgins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Norman wants to improve his position but Higgins is controlling well.
Higgins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Higgins connects with a nice short shot to Norman's temple.

Higgins arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Norman's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Harry Higgins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
