Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leucival The Fixe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leucival The Fixe!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but The Fixe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The Fixe is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Scott's half guard.

Scott has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but The Fixe is on him like a limpet, forcing Scott back against the cage.

The Fixe is trying to trip Scott. He has hold of a leg but Scott is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. The Fixe persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Scott fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Fixe looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

The Fixe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Scott tries to roll over but The Fixe keeps him under control.
The Fixe winds up and cracks Scott with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Scott is looking to improve his position.

Scott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Fixe on the ground.

The Fixe is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Scott sees it coming and defends easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Scott is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The Fixe closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Scott's guard.
Scott wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and The Fixe manages to pass to side control.

The Fixe turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and The Fixe manages to end up in side control.

The Fixe is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Scott knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You can see the frustration on Scott's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Scott is trapped and The Fixe is scoring with shots to the head and body.

The Fixe is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Scott has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The Fixe really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Scott.

I really don't envy Scott right now.

The Fixe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Scott on his heels. He'll look to pass Scott's guard now, I'm sure.

Scott looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! The Fixe has picked Scott up and slammed him! Scott can't keep hold of the triangle and The Fixe manages to pass to side control!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for The Fixe. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Scott is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if The Fixe gets his way!

Well The Fixe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
