Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryzen Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt McLaren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Scarecrow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLaren takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dall throws a big shot that misses.
No luck for Dall with that takedown attempt.
McLaren tries to counter with a clinch but Dall shakes him off and moves away.
Dall misses with a straight right.
Dall tries for a takedown but McLaren sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McLaren wants to counter the offense by Dall and move into the clinch position.
Dall uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McLaren.
Dall throws a head kick that misses.
McLaren throws a body punch but Dall moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McLaren pinned against the cage. McLaren gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McLaren has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Dall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McLaren.

and Dall counters with a single leg into guard. McLaren didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McLaren wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McLaren is pressing down on Dall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dall is holding on for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
McLaren slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dall throws a good cross that connects.
McLaren scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McLaren on the side of the head.

Dall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dall lands in his opponent's guard.
McLaren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dall manages to get himself to full guard.

McLaren is fighting to break Dall's control of his arms but Dall is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Dall controls McLaren momentarily but McLaren frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dall controls McLaren momentarily but McLaren frees himself.
Dall is trying to hold McLaren in close to prevent damage but McLaren has managed to pass into half guard.

McLaren is trying to control. Dall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
McLaren has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Dall shoots for a takedown but McLaren saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Colt McLaren is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
McLaren scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McLaren wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Well McLaren has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
