Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kid Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerzy Gajdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakamura's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Turning Japanese (The Vapors). Jerzy Gajdek has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura feints a jab promting Gajdek to slip. Nakamura then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gajdek slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Gajdek shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nakamura is trying to defend but Gajdek finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Gajdek is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nakamura sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nakamura has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gajdek is on him like a limpet, forcing Nakamura back against the cage.

Nakamura thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gajdek if he has to take too many more of those.

It looks like Jerzy Gajdek has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gajdek.
Nakamura scores with a one two! Gajdek had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Nakamura gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Come on Nakamura - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Nakamura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nakamura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gajdek circles away quickly and effectively.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Nakamura's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gajdek stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nakamura.
Nakamura connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Nakamura gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gajdek is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nakamura is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nakamura has escaped and now he's on top!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gajdek has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nakamura can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nakamura is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gajdek can do to turn this around?

Gajdek is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Nakamura frees his head nicely. Oh but Gajdek has switched to an armbar! Nakamura is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
