Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernst Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Sun God Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Sun God Ra!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ra wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Young, who protects the arm well.

Young wants to get back to his feet but Ra drags him back down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ra lands a big shot there that rocks Young but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ra throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Ra has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Young lands a nice shot that snaps Ra's head back.

A little feinted left hand from Young on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Young bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Young throws a jab but it's blocked by Ra.
Ra appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Ra tries to clinch but Young is having none of it.

The Sun God Ra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
