Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Lawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 27 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Haverford !
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Haverford manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Lawson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lawson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawson is looking to advance position but Haverford has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Lawson drops back looking for a leg! Haverford is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Haverford manages to kick Lawson off! Lawson jumps back into Haverford 's guard.
Haverford is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lawson distracts Haverford with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lawson passes Haverford 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lawson in particular looking to stall.
Lawson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Haverford !

Lawson is landing with some decent strikes but Haverford is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Haverford is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lawson lands a big shot there that rocks Haverford but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.


It looks like Tom Haverford has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lawson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haverford 's face.


Haverford is rocked!


The cut above Tom Haverford 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Haverford bucks up and throws Lawson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Lawson lands a glancing blow to the side of Haverford 's head.


Tom Haverford 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Haverford tries to clinch up.
Haverford takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trey Lawson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tom Haverford 's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lawson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Haverford takes one to the chin there.
Haverford is still on wobbly legs! Can Lawson finish him?
Haverford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lawson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Haverford seems to have recovered his senses.
Haverford is looking to chop away at Lawson's legs.
Haverford stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lawson.
Haverford is looking to clinch.
Lawson lands a nice hook to Haverford 's body. Haverford takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
No luck for Haverford with that takedown attempt.
Lawson lands a lovely overhand right.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lawson.
Lawson throws a nice head kick!
Lawson scores with a jab. Haverford acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haverford throws a low kick but Lawson moves out of range easily.
Lawson is looking to counter punch.
Tom Haverford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawson works Haverford 's body with a nice hook.
Lawson checks a leg kick.
Lawson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Haverford can do to turn this around?
Lawson jabs Haverford to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Lawson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tom Haverford 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Trey Lawson!
After the fight, Trey Lawson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
