Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dmitriev lands a high kick!
Bryan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dmitriev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bryan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Dmitriev counters with a head kick. That will keep Bryan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Bryan is pressed up against the cage. Dmitriev has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bryan down to the mat. Bryan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Dmitriev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The referee is keeping an eye on Bryan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dmitriev is trying to drag Bryan to the mat but Bryan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Daniel Bryan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Dmitriev.
Bryan tries to pull guard but Dmitriev holds him up against the cage and eventually Bryan drops back down to his feet.

Bryan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dmitriev walks away with a smile on his face. Bryan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bryan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dmitriev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dmitriev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bryan misses with a few strikes there.
Bryan tries to clinch but Dmitriev is having none of it.
A lazy left from Dmitriev finds it's target.

Alexei Dmitriev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bryan shoots in for a takedown but Dmitriev shows good takedown defense.
As Bryan backs off Dmitriev throws a huge counter combo but Bryan manages to avoid it all.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bryan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bryan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dmitriev avoids it really well and circles away.
Despite the aggression on Dmitriev's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Dmitriev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bryan.
Alexei Dmitriev is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bryan wants to clinch
and Dmitriev counters with a one-two to the body.
Bryan tries to clinch but Dmitriev is having none of it.
Dmitriev feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bryan's calf.
Dmitriev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
