Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beast Putin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micky Scouser!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scouser throws a solid leg kick but Putin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Scouser.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Scouser lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Putin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Putin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Putin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Scouser misses with a head kick.
Putin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
A jab from Putin finds it's way through Scouser's defenses.
Scouser needs to keep his hands up - Putin had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Micky Scouser has been cut.
Scouser throws a quick inside leg kick.
We've been hearing reports that Putin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Good leg kick by Scouser there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Putin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Scouser takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Putin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Scouser looks to score with a jab to the body but Putin is just out of range.
Putin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scouser throws a sloppy head kick and Putin moves out of range easily.
Putin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Scouser on the side of the head.
Putin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Putin blocks a low kick nicely.
Putin is looking to counter the offense by Scouser and move into the clinch.
Scouser throws a leg kick but Putin sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scouser cracks the inside of Putin's front leg.
Scouser throws a wild body kick that Putin sees coming a mile off.
Scouser lands with a shot to the body.
Scouser's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Putin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Scouser scrambles back to his feet.
Putin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Scouser tries a head kick but it misses.
A quick step to the side and Putin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Scouser misses with a low kick.
Putin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Scouser avoids the body shot from Putin.
Scouser throws a head kick but Putin moves out of range.
Putin throws a body punch but Scouser moves out of range.
Putin is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Scouser fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Putin misses with a hook. Scouser ducked under it nicely.
Scouser throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Putin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

BAM! Putin delivers a spinning backfist that drops Scouser like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Beast Putin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
