Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Justin Jolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rojas has chosen Apaga Mas Não Bate as his entrance music. Rodrigo Rojas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jolly takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Rojas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rojas showed some decent athleticism there.
Jolly wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rojas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jolly has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jolly is trying to maintain the position but Rojas is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rojas tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jolly knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
